CAB college library

College of Business Administration library main tasks are to provide college students and staff with necessary literature for the study process, give access to the information search systems and introduce with BVK students qualification papers. Library provides interlibrary and international interlibrary loan.

CBA library provides:

• Receive full information about library collection and electronic references;
• Receive the necessary literature for the studies according to the loan period set by the library, in coordination with the librarian; the period of use of the literature can be prolonged personally or via e-mail bvk@bvk.lv;
• If the required book is only one copy, library reader can use it in the reading room;
• The library provides Interlibrary and International interlibrary loan;
• Library provides access to qualification papers.

Bielefeld Academic Search Engine or BASE is one of the world’s most voluminous search engines especially for academic web resources. BVK Library offers to the library readers – Interlibrary Loan (IL) and International Interlibrary Loan (IIL):

Interlibraryloan (IL) is the possibility for the readers to use documents from the National library of Latvia or other research libraries’ collections via the library closest to them.

In order to receive information resources that are not available in the library collection, readers must complete the order form and send it to e-mail bvk@bvk.lv with the indication SBA order.

The cost of an interlibrary loan transaction must be paid by Readers.

Readers can use resource in the reading room. The lending library will determine the length of the loan period and stipulate any restrictions on the use of the book.
